A modern approach

Your body speaks. I can help you learn how to listen and live in greater harmony with yourself. I am trained in Polyvagal theory and Internal Family Systems. I draw heavily on each of these to help you understand your behavior compassionately.

I have cultivated multiple approaches, allowing me to be flexible to best meet my clients needs. I completed the extensive DBT training to create stronger behavioral modification skills for managing the most chronically difficult behaviors and mood states. I help clients manage anxiety, transitional stress, depression, irritability and lack of motivation.

I have recently completed my traumatic stress certification to more fully understand the impacts of stress to our bodies. I am equipped to help you navigate whatever injuries you experience. I specialize in helping you get unstuck and heal and grow.

I bring something unique to the table: openness and curiousity, as well as competency and compassion. I can't wait to meet you.

I’ve really enjoyed working with Malinda. It’s not always easy to find a therapist with who you have a genuine connection, but she’s so warm and authentic, it’s hard to imagine her not being a good fit for you. Her approach is compassionate, supportive, intelligent while also light-hearted and humorous. She’s challenged me to be more curious and committed. Do recommend.
